Another oddity about Admiral Paris' uniform was that his sleeve stripes appeared to be slightly smaller than usual - perhaps 1 ¾" instead of the standard 2":
Perhaps this was yet another costume slip-up, or perhaps it had to do with his physique (adjusting the width of the sleeve stripe for some reason, perhaps regarding the length of the actor's arms).
